This is not your average GT S. Hips won’t tell you that.
Prior Design can help you make the Mercedes-AMG’s standard GT more appealing. The aftermarket experts started with the S model and added their PD700GTR widebody kits, which brings fatter wheel arches thanks to new side rocker panels. To make the GT S stand out in the new Need for Speed game, the package includes reworked fascias that feature a spoiler lip at the front and prominent diffuser at back.
Prior Design did not stop there. It also designed a new hood to fit Affalterbach’s coupe. This was also equipped with a robust rear spoiler. You can have these body parts in full carbon fiber but it will cost more. The GT S was brought closer to the road by 40mm (1.57in) with the help of a set H&R sports springs. These were used to complement the 20-inch front and 21 inch rear wheels. They are finished in stealthy dark and have a five-spoke design.
The custom exhaust system, which replaces the standard one, features valve control to adjust the sound effects generated by AMG’s biturbo-4.0-liter V8 engine. Although images of the interior are not available, Prior Design claims it made extensive use carbon fiber to keep the exterior theme.
The tuner mentioned that the GT S was currently at Nurburgring to show it is more than a showcar. He also put the car through its paces with a professional driver. Additional details and lap times will be revealed at a later time.
