The tuned version of the 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 from the GT Black Series is under the hood. You can also find different fuel injectors. This increases the power output to 724 horsepower (540 Kilowatts) as well as 627 pound-feet (627 Newton-meters). The road-going Black Series produces 720 horsepower (537 kW) as well as 590 lbft (800 Nm)

The engine runs through a six-speed sequential Hewland HLS racing gearbox that has adjustable settings for the rear differential. The road car features a seven speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Track Series is equipped with four-way adjustable Bilstein dampers. Each damper has both a high-speed and a low-speed setting to allow rebound or compression. You can also adjust the ride height. You can also change the settings of your anti-roll bars.

Circuit-only models have carbon fiber parts for the hood and fenders, sills as well as the rear hatch and back bumper. The Black Series interior does not include any road-going luxuries. The center console is carbon and the seats are racing. This resulted in a curb weight of approximately 3,086 pounds (1.400 kilograms) compared to around 3,500 pounds (1.588 kilograms), for street-legal cars.

The hood features a large air outlet to direct hot air from the engine bay. This allows for aerodynamic adjustments for track use. This model features a unique splitter design. Louvers on the front fenders increase the downforce at front axle. Side sills are designed to direct air to the rear brakes. The adjustable upper portion of the dual-element rear wings has two elements.
