Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance F1 Edition

The visual package is as expensive as a Volkswagen T-Roc.

Only a few months have passed since the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance was introduced. A second special edition is already in development. The company’s most powerful production vehicle is now available to purchase at a higher price, thanks to the introduction of the EUR218,674 edition in February. (until the AMG One arrives). The F1 Edition is priced at EUR222,815 in Germany. It comes with an appearance package, which adds EUR23 800 to the car’s price base of just below EUR200,000.

The version is named after F1 as the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team was not very successful in 2022. What are you getting for an optional appearance package that costs about the same price as a base Volkswagen TRoc? These 21-inch forged wheels feature a dual five-spoke design and a red rim flange. This is to echo the alloys used in the official FIA F1 Medical Car.

AMG offers an aero package that includes a larger front splitter, more air deflector elements and fixed rear aerofoil. These components are more than just for shows as they were developed in the wind tunnel to improve handling at high speeds and reduce drag.

The AMG GT 63 E Performance F1 Edition is finished in a luxurious Alpine Grey paint. It also comes with a variety of glossy black accents. These accents are part of not one but two Night Packages that give the badges a darker look. They also apply to the exhaust finishers and window surrounds. Mercedes also blacked the grille and other exterior trim, while the fuel filler cap is silver chrome.

The Affalterbach folks have not provided official images of the interior, but we know that the Nappa leather seats are available in black with red contrast stitching. You can see more of the vibrant hue on the seatbelts and steering wheel as well as carbon fiber trim. Unique floor mats complete the visual enhancements.

The PHEV beast with 843 horsepower and 1,084 pound feet (1,470 Newton-meters of torque) comes with an AMG-branded indoor vehicle cover with the F1 logo.
