Expect to see no significant interior changes.
Mercedes seems to be introducing new models or planning to redesign existing ones everywhere you look. The company unveiled the AMG One and new GLC this week. But, more are still to come from the German automaker. Mercedes is also updating the B-Class. It will get a slight makeover in comparison to the current model.
The Mercedes will be receiving subtle changes at the rear and front. Recent spy photos show the with camouflage covering the front fascia and lower rear bumpers, as well as the taillights. We expect that Mercedes will make some changes to the model, including slimmer headlights and a modified grille.
We expect Mercedes to make subtle changes at the rear. They will change the bumper and taillights. Although we have not yet had a clear view of the interior of the B-Class, we do not expect any major changes. It should keep its dash-spanning driver screen and infotainment screen, paired with the most recent version of MBUX infotainment software.
Mercedes might remove the touchpad from the B-Class’s center console if the interior looks similar to the redesigned A-Class. Mercedes might make some other changes to the large screen, and redesign a few interior bits. They may also add a little more technology to keep it fresher than its rivals.
Although we have not heard anything about the powertrains yet, we don’t think there will be any surprises. The mid-cycle refresh keeps things simple for the BClass. While the current lineup of powertrains should remain unchanged, Mercedes may make them more efficient.
Mercedes has not yet revealed when the refreshed B-Class will be available for purchase, but we anticipate it will in time to go on sale for the 2023 model year. It may be revealed later in the year or early next. It will likely arrive shortly after Mercedes unveils the revamped A Class we’ve seen, which will also get a slight styling makeover.
