According to a new report, Mercedes-Benz will launch the C63 AMG in late 2012 with a new V8 twin-turbo engine of 4.0-liter capacity.
According to a new report, Mercedes-Benz intends to launch the C63AMG later next year using a new V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo motor.
According to Autocar in Britain, the new C63AMG will be available towards the end 2014 with a V8 4.0-liter twin turbo gasoline engine. It is expected to produce between 454 bhp (33 kW) or 493 bhp (467 kW). The motor will transmit its output via the 7G-MCT speedshift automatic transmission. However, the engine will eventually be integrated into all future AMG models.
In 2015, the C-Class will be extended with the C300 Plug-In Hybrid. This 4-cylinder turbocharged direct-injection gasoline motor will produce 249 bhp (285 kW), and will be paired with an electric motor that produces 67 bhp (5 kW).
