Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Teased for the Last Time Before Debut
It comes with all the technology of the EQS and the ability to travel off-road.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will finally be revealed on April 19, at 12:00 PM CEST (6:00 am EDT), after years of spy shots. Before the unveiling, the company will release one more teaser about the luxury electric vehicle that is high-riding. Below is a short video that shows closeups of various elements of the SUV. The rear seat, wheels, taillights and closed grille are all visible to the viewers. The reflection of the entire vehicle is seen at the beginning. While the EQS SUV will be built on the same platform as the EQS sedan it will offer a more luxurious ride for those who want it. This is a key selling point for the four door Mercedes. This model can accommodate up to seven people, with an optional third row.

The EQS SUV claims it can travel up to 373 miles (600 km) on one charge. The EQS sedan’s powertrain would have a single-motor rear-drive 450+ model with 329 horses (245 kilowatts), and 406 pound-feet (405 newton-meters). The 580 4Matic would produce 516 horsepower (385 kW)and 611 lbft (828 Nm). , the AMG version, of the four-door, has 751 HP (560 kW) as well as 752 lbft (1,020Nm).

Off-road capability is another factor that distinguishes the SUV from the sedan. It is hard to imagine anyone purchasing the four-door SUV and driving it on the streets. The EQS SUV, on the other hand, will offer drive modes that can be adapted to go onto difficult terrain.

Motor1.com had the chance to ride in a prototype of the EQS SUV this year. Although the vehicle’s exterior was camouflaged, the images (above), showed the interior. Editor Jeff Perez found that the dashboard looked largely identical to the EQS sedan, including features like the digital instrument cluster, 17.7-inch touchscreen, and 12.3-inch passenger-side-mounted screen. Mercedes will manufacture the EQS SUV in its Tuscaloosa factory, Alabama. The model will be available for purchase in 2023 after its debut.
