Mercedes-Benz S 250 CDI BlueEfficiency cometh – First ever 4-cylinder S-Class

Next month, Mercedes will be exhibiting their first four-cylinder S-Class at Frankfurt Motor Show. We love what we hear…

Mercedes is rumored to be introducing their first four-cylinder S-Class. The Mercedes-Benz S 250 CDI blueEFFICIENCY, a Mercedes-Benz four-cylinder sedan, will emit just 155 grams CO2 per mile. It is currently being prepared for the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is in line with a trend that many automakers are following to make their biggest sedans more polluting.
The S 250 CDI has the same 2.1-liter diesel engine as the C-Class, E-Class, and E-Class. It produces a maximum of 224 horsepower and 500 Nm torque. Although performance figures have not yet been released, we know that the car can travel 100 kilometers on approximately 5.9 liters. The S 250 CDI is entry-level and produces 11 horsepower less than the S 350 CDI, which runs on a V6 CDI.
If the reports are true, we will be able to get more information about the car in the coming weeks as the introductory date approaches.
