This is the two-door version, but the wagon and sedan will be available soon.
Multiple spy photos have shown Mercedes hard at work on the next E-Class. However, that is not stopping the three-pointed star updating the current model. The Night Edition is available in Europe as an AMG Line model, with the Night Package. It’s also available for all four body types. The coupe and cabriolet are the only models we can see at the moment. Two-door models will soon be available. Soon, the sedan and wagon models will be available.
The 2022 E-Class Night Edition is equipped with a variety of dark accents, as the name suggests. The exhaust finishers are the same as the front grille, but have black pins. On closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the front fenders are covered in black pins. “Night Edition” Mercedes claims that the wagon and sedan will be equipped with black spoilers.
The Night Edition brings luxury to the cabin by adding a black headliner, fancy leather upholstery and a luxurious interior. Buyers can also choose the E-Class with Alcantara or leather. The special model features many improvements, including aluminum-finished trim elements and illuminated door sill panels.
The console is finished in open-pore black Ash wood and proudly sports a “Night Edition”, badge made from polished aluminum with glossy black letters. The German luxury marque even modified the floor mats to include exclusive embroidery to signify the E-Class’ unique status. The quartet comes standard with heated front seats and a leather-wrapped dashboard.
Mercedes has begun accepting orders for the coupe or cabriolet in the domestic market. The package is priced at EUR5,295 to EUR9.222 depending on body style and drivetrain. The E-Class Sedan, T-Modell and Night Package will be available in Germany starting May 17. The cars will be on display at European dealers starting in July.
It is possible that we are looking at the E-Class Coupe or Cabriolet’s last update, considering rumors have it that Mercedes wants to combine the two-door C-Class model and the E-Class model to create the CLE.
