Mercedes E-Class Sedan No Longer Available To Order In Germany

However, the long-roof version of this roof is still available.

Germany cannot order the Mercedes E-Class sedan. According to Automotive News Europe all production slots were occupied up until March 23. This would mark the end of production on the current-generation W213 model. If you want to purchase a four-door E-Class you will need to wait for the next-generation model.

Long-roof buyers are still in luck. According to sources, the E Class Estate order process has not been affected. It will be available until mid-2023.

It won’t take long for anyone who is about to order an E-Class sedan. Mercedes is already at work on the next-generation W214 model. It is expected to be available in the second half of the year. Dealerships will receive it in 2023.

The next-generation E-Class sedan first appeared for testing in December 2021, and then it made its spy-video debut this October. Although it’s not obvious, the design is very similar to the C-Class. The midsize sedan will get electronic pop-out doors handles and an increase in size to match the C-Class’s growth.

Expect the bulk of the upgrades to the cabin to arrive, including an upgraded infotainment system. To complement the digital instrument cluster, a vertical touchscreen will be available.

According to reports, the power plant options will be between four and six cylinders. The V8 option will be removed from the AMG E63 which is due to launch sometime in 2023. It will be replaced by an electrified M139 engine, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder with an electric turbo and an electric motor.
