Mercedes G500 4×42 Landaulet is Supreme Opulence

This G-Class was damaged by its roof and Brabus stopped it from being upgraded.

The G Class has been a fascinating vehicle since its creation at the end of 1970. There have been many derivatives of the G-Class over the years. But the most recent are the most interesting. The G63 6×6 was a bizarre example. It went on to produce a more civilized G500 4×4 1. The Mercedes-Maybach’s luxurious G650 Landaulet, also known as a Mercedes-Maybach, was a final hurrah for W463 series.

This highly customized G is the result of combining a Brabus-tuned G5004x4 with the Landaulet. It’s not as extravagant as the Maybach model but it’s still beautiful. This project involved more than just removing the roof from the SUV. To give more legroom, fully electric and reclined rear seats were placed further back than the standard model. However, the wheelbase was retained.

The original Landaulet had a lot of space between the axles, and the seats were comparable to an S-Class. This G500 4×4 has the same wheelbase as the S-Class and only a small cargo area since the custom seats are pushed backwards. The carpet was replaced with a new headliner and side panels, as well as a lot more Alcantara.

The transformation took six months. A clip-on fabric roof could be added later if the owner wants it. He’s enjoying a lot of enjoyment with his modified G-Class.

You may be aware that this G500 4×4 2 has lost its roof. Professional skier Jon Olsson also converted his G high-riding G into an convertible by adding marine-grade teak decking to the back and removing the side and rear columns.
