This extra-long, luxurious sedan features white faux fur.
Mercedes is not able to compete with the Rolls-Royce Phantom or Bentley Flying Spur Muliner, according to some. Its Maybach division is pushing the boundaries in its quest to be an ultra-luxury brand. The double M’s extra-long sedan is the pinnacle in sophistication. But what if this brand could go one step further by using more luxurious materials?
The Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture is a preview of a limited-run edition that will be released in 2023. The ultimate is inspired by high-end fashion and features a two-tone exterior that combines a dark nautical-blue upper section with wheels and a rose lower half. The real magic happens inside the cabin.
The interior continues the same color scheme as the exterior. Boucle fabric in blue, rose gold, and beige adorns the doors and cushions. Soft pillows aka scatter cushions are also visible on the seats. Rose gold accents create the illusion that you are inside a piece or jewelry. They come bundled with matching bags and Nappa leather apparel made from the same boucle fabric.
White Nappa leather can be found almost everywhere. Maybach even went so far as to discreetly modify the MBUX with shimmering rose gold accents on the infotainment screen. The Mercedes-Maybach logo proudly appears on the home button, which also features a rose gold ring. The Haute Voiture, which comes in champagne flutes and white faux furs, is undoubtedly the most extravagant S class.
The next production car won’t be revealed. However, the S680 will have the V12 engine. This seems to be an educated guess. The S680 model, which is powered by a V8 engine, will cost more than $200,000, while the S580 starts at $184,000. Mercedes-Benz USA has not yet announced pricing details for its regular S680. However, it will start with a “2”.
