Customers who desire a luxurious driving experience and a design experience with a car.
Mercedes-Benz continues to overhaul its product range. One of the models that will be coming soon from Maybach is in fact the Maybach model. Gorden Wagener, Daimler’s chief designer, teased that the next model from the Rolls-Royce-rivaling brand will be the Mercedes-Maybach SL. It will arrive first as a concept.
Wagener’s post on social media had a caption that read:
The Concept Mercedes-Maybach SL – revealing details about the future prospects of our most exclusive brand. Customers who want a refined luxury driving experience and design experience.
The teaser is a little vague at the moment and doesn’t reveal much about the Maybach SL Concept. The image shows the Maybach emblem embedded on a black hood and the red body color. Staple Maybach elements like the brand wordmark, vertical-slat grille and three-pointed stars on the hood, are all present. But that’s about it. It is unknown when the Maybach SL will arrive in production.
We can also expect the Mercedes-Maybach SL model from this luxury brand. The Maybach version is being developed for the EQS SUV, which will be available on the market in 2023.
Mercedes plans to revamp its lineup to make it “the most valuable luxury car brand in the world.” It is expected that 75 percent of investment will be for larger and more luxurious vehicles with higher profit margins.
The addition of large cars meant that compact Mercedes automobiles are now on the way out. The entry-level luxury models will be reduced from seven to four. The automaker has not yet confirmed which entry-level models will be affected.
