Supertramped Co. is a mobile home company that specializes in conversions of older European buses. TheDrive brought Ernie, one of their latest projects to our attention.
“Customers wanted a surf shack, beach hut, and shabby chic tiny house but I didn’t want to make one.” Ernie has a vintage interior with modern features. It’s more than a motorhome for summer vacation. It’s a home that you can live in all year round.
There are 520-watt solar panel, a fridge and freezer and a Smev propane stovetop range and oven, as well as a 240-volt UV sterilizer with a three stage reverse osmosis potable drinking water filtration system. Exterior lights, an Alexa smart home capability with voice-activated lighting, Rockford Fosgate sound system and six speakers.

The coachbuilder can design and build your entire living space if you supply your bus. Ernie was a young couple who commissioned the project. The final cost of the project was $25,000 without the donor Mercedes Bus.
The only problem is the minor one. Supertramped Co. actually is located in the United Kingdom, which could mean that you might need to spend a little more to import your motorhome to the United States. However, they say that if you have a will there is a way.
