Miami: Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler Three O Five’ Editions Available

The duo is ready to take on the dunes at Ocean Drive

Jeep Two new editions of the South Florida Edition pay tribute to South Florida Gladiator And Wrangler The 2019 Miami Auto Show. The ‘Three O Five,’ named after Miami’s notorious ‘305’ area number, the special edition models were based on the Sport S trim and come with an extensive selection of optional Jeep Performance Parts from Mopar.

Jeep outfitted both the Wrangler as well as the Gladiator Three O Five exteriors with kits such a winch, BF Goodrich offroad tires, and a winch. The most remarkable piece of equipment is the unusual doors on the Jeeps.

Three O Five editions come with black metal tube frame doors that match the interior of their vehicles. The doors of the Three O Fives are removable, just like Gladiator and Wrangler. This compliments Miami’s relaxed, beach-style vibes. It’s difficult to imagine how the climate control system would not work at full capacity, given that the doors don’t offer any protection from the elements. However, South Floridians know that driving around with the A/C blasting is a regular part of life in this area.

Both vehicles have quilted leather seats with model-specific details such as an embossed Willys Jeep grille on the backrests. Audiophiles will also find a touchscreen infotainment system that is 7.0 inches in size with Android and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

The fun details extend to the exterior. On both vehicles’ hoods, a sticker depicts a stylized representation of Jeep’s seven-slot grille evolution – from CJ and Wrangler. These little details add visual flair and style to the Jeeps’ familiar shapes.

All Wrangler Three-O Fives will come with the Sky One Touch Roof; this is the first time that this feature will be offered in the Sport S trim. However, the Gladiator Three O Five has the removable roof as the standard model. Both models come with LED headlights as well as a Miami-themed graphics pack.

The Wrangler Three-O Five’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine produces 295 pound-feet and 270 horsepower. The Gladiator Three O Five is powered by FCA’s 3.6 liter ‘Pentastar V6 engine, which produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb.ft.

The production is limited to only 255 Wranglers or 50 Gladiators. This makes a total of 305 units. Only two colors are available: Punk’n Orange or Bright White with contrasting colored stickers.

Jeep has not yet published pricing information on these special editions. The standard Wrangler Sport S starts from $34,995, while Gladiator Sport S begins at $36,745.
