The folks over at MidEngineCorvetteForum.com are not waiting for Chevrolet to come clean on its forthcoming mid-engine monster. The talented forum member Chazcron created a 360-degree fan rendering of the new ‘Vette. He also worked on many. It looks great to us.

There are many interesting things to do. Thread The forum chronicles the creation of the 360-degree preview. The process involved scanning spy photos and then tweaking and shading them to reveal the body panels and lines. This should, in theory, be very close to the real thing. Interesting carbon fiber trim is used on the side scoops. The scoops don’t appear as large as other renders. It’s an impressive take on the spy shots that we have seen. It’s possible to say that anticipation for this car is high. We have not seen anyone create a 360-degree video of this final car from spy photos for as long as we have been waiting for the Toyota Supra. Toyota isn’t as secretive as Chevrolet on its sports car project. Technically, Chevrolet has yet to confirm that such an animal exists.

However, it is definitely there and we won’t need to rely on renders any longer to see underneath the camo. Although there is no word yet on the date, we are betting it will be at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in just a little over a year.
