MilSpec Automotive continues creating impressive Hummer H1s. The firm’s sixth example is now showing off its dark aesthetic. This vehicle is part Mil-Spec’s Launch Edition lineup, which includes 12 custom-built Hummers between 2018 and 2020. The buyer paid $295,039.

Mil-Spec’s other inventions are also replaced by a rigid aluminum floorpan. All body panels are made from aerospace-grade aluminum. The Hummer’s eight-way adjustable air suspension allows for four inches of ride height adjustment from the cabin.

The Duramax turbodiesel 6.6-liter Duramax makes 500 horsepower (373 Kilowatts) as well as 1,000 pound-feet (1.356 Newton-meters). This power is transmitted through a six speed automatic gearbox that has strengthening to handle the large output. This rig can crawl through most obstacles thanks to its two-speed transfer box and ARB air locker at the rear axle. Wilwood brakes have 12.25-inch slotted/drilled disc rotors to slow down the large rig. Mil-Spec’s sixth creation, Galerie above, was purchased by a buyer who wanted something similar to the Second build of the firm (gallery below).. They both have a fastback back, but the designer wanted to make the latest one more practical.

This model features an aluminum snorkel intake and a functional hood scoop. The front bodywork is protected by a massive bumper made of tubular material. The upper section of windshield is covered by a 60-inch LED lightbar. It is mounted on Black Rhino Armory 20-inch wheels and 38-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler rubber tires.

Mil-Spec’s sixth creation, which is made of leather and Tough Duck marine-grade Canvas, is black inside. Paracord door handles add a cool touch. The floor is vinyl-covered so your muddy boots won’t ruin it. For a quieter cabin than a regular Hummer, the company adds sound deadening and a padding headliner. Because there is so much space on the insider there are separate air conditioning units for the rear and front seats.
