The MINI F1 will not be as powerful as the MINI Cooper S equipped with the John Cooper Works GP tuning system. We don’t yet have any details on the tuning beyond the paint job and some F1 markings scattered about. MINI will likely unveil the model at Silverstone’s MINI United event in May.

Motoringfile reports the MINI F1’s first pre-production model rolled off the Oxford plant earlier this week. It has been seen scurrying about.

MINI will continue to be a limited edition with a production run of 50-100 F1s.
