Doesn't Get Escaped by New Lamborghini Countach Without Inflicting Some Damage

It will buff right out

The Lamborghini Countach was the most popular debut at this year’s Monterey Car Week. However, the vehicle on display had suffered some minor damage during the event. This video shows the driver’s rear wheel getting some curb rash.

Although the video doesn’t get a clear view of the damage, it is still possible to see it even though the focus is blurry. The rim appears slightly bent and there’s a long scrape.

It is not known when the damage occurred. Motor1.com’s walkaround video shows the wheel in perfect condition. The start-up video does not contain any scrapes.

The Countach LPI 800-4 is able to ride on 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch back wheels. The openings are hexagonal in shape and have a phone-dial-like appearance. These tires are Pirelli P Zero Corsas.

Modern Countachs come with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, which produces 769 horsepower (573 kilowatts). A 34-hp electric motor (25 kW) is also available. There are 803 horsepower (599 kW) available.

Lamborghini claims that the Countach can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.8 seconds, and 124 mph (200 kph), in 8.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 221 mph (356 km/h).

The Countach comes in a range of heritage colors to keep it retro-chic. The supercar’s striking appearance can be achieved with shades like Viola 30th purple or Verde Scandal neon.

Lambo intends to produce 112 units for the revived Countach. Although the company will keep pricing low, it is expected that the total number of units sold will be in excess $1 million. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter 2022
