These are great gifts!
The Morgan Plus Four CXT looks like the most enjoyable car you could buy. It is a shame that only eight are being made by the British brand and each one will cost PS170,000. This video gives you a glimpse of the experience of driving this limited-edition offroader.
The CX-T is a tribute to Morgan’s successes in hill climbs, trials and other endeavors in the early 20th-century. It all starts with a Plus Four However, extensive modifications can transform the vehicle into a sport car that an owner can drive off-road. New inlets at the front are included, as well as a tow hook. The passenger compartment is protected by an external roll cage. There are several spotlights on the roof. You can also store the upper portions of the doors there. You can now store two spare tires of full size, additional fuel, water tanks, and a toolbox. There are also luggage cases that can be used to haul lots of gear.
The CX-T shares the majority of the running gear with its Plus Four counterpart. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder from BMW produces 255 horsepower (190kilowatts) through a six speed manual. BMW’s X-Drive electronic controls control the rear differential with full open, 45 percent lock and 100 percent lock settings.
This video shows the CX-T’s ability to be chuckable even with its modest power. The host mentions that the lower door sections are removed when you slide to your left and mud and other debris fly into the driver’s face. It might be possible to use old-fashioned driving glasses. They would also look great.
The CX-T uses EXETC coilovers to help it perform well off-road. To widen the track, it uses wishbones from Plus Six. All-terrain tires offer grip on gravel and dirt. We wonder if Morgan will make the CX-T a regular model, given the overwhelming response to it. The model that has all the modifications to the drivetrain, suspension and wheels, but not all the off-road gear, could be a very popular option. The engineering work is done already.
