Ford has released the first images for the facelifted 2011 Mondeo. Check out the images inside.

Ford has released the images of the facelifted 2011 Mondeo.

The new car will be revealed at the Moscow Motor Show. It features a new grille and a revised hood. Modified headlights are also included. The interior features include a revised center console, LED ambient lighting, and a better satellite navigation system.

Engine options include a 203 PS (194 kW/ 200 hp ), a 240PS (177 kW/137 hp 2.0-liter EcoBoost ), a 200PS (147 kW/ 197hp 2.0-liter Duratorq TDCi), a 200PS (147 kW/ 137hp 2.0-liter EcoBoost ), and three 2.0-liter Duratorq TDCi engine with 115 PS (85kW/113 hp), 140 PS/ hp), kW/ 138 hp), and 163 PS (hp The EcoBoost models will come standard with a six-speed PowerShift double clutch transmission, while the 140 PS (103kW/138 hp), 140 PS (103kW/138 hp) and 163PS (120kW/161 hp versions of the Duratorq TDCi are optional.

The 2011 Mondeo has regenerative brake, an Eco Mode and an Active Grille Shut system to improve fuel economy. This device regulates the airflow through radiator and engine compartment to reduce aerodynamic drag. It also provides benefits to engine heating characteristics to increase fuel economy and warm up performance in cold weather.

The model will feature lane departure warning, driver alarm, auto high beam headslights, blind spot information system, speed limiter and a rearview camera.
