There are three petrol options: a 1.6-liter Duratec that produces 120 PS (88kW/118 hp), a 2.0 Duratec that produces 145 PS (107kW/143 hp), and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost which generates 203 PS (149kW/200 hp) and 240 PS (177kW/237 hp). Diesel enthusiasts have the option of a Duratorq TDCi 2.0 with 115 PS (85kW/113 hp), 140PS (103kW/138 hp), 163 PS (161 kW/ 161 horsepower), and a Duratorq TDCi 2.2 with 200 PS (147kW/197 hp).

Ford has installed regenerative brake, an Eco Mode driver information system and an Active Grille shutter system to maximize fuel efficiency. This regulates airflow through the radiator/engine compartment, which reduces aerodynamic drag, improves engine heating characteristics, and increases fuel economy, especially in cold climates.
