The 2019 Mazda Mazda3 offers a radical new look to the brand’s compact models. You can now build the sedan using the automaker’s configurator. However, the hatchback is not yet available for you to specify. After adding all the accessories, the premium model is $30,940.

The base 2019 Mazda Mazda3 Sedan starts at $21,920 with front-wheel drive (plus the $920 destination fee). The company currently offers only the 2.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated with 186 horsepower (139 Kilowatts) & 186 poundfeet (252 Newton meters) of torque. The only available transmission is a six-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is available by upgrading to the Select trim level. This version has torque going to both axles and costs at least $24,920.

The Premium trim is available for $27,420 and $28,820 respectively for an all-wheel-drive version. Standard features include LED headlights and leather upholstery. There are also power seats, head-up displays, power windows, and a 12-speaker stereo. Blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency brake with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, lane keep aid, and lane departure warning are just a few of the driver assistance tech.

Five exterior colors are available. Jet Black Mica and Deep Crystal Blue Mica are both available at no cost. Snowflake White Pearl Mica costs $200, Machine Gray Metallic costs $300, and Soul Red Crystal Metallic costs $595. The vehicle’s interior is available in either Black or White leather.

You can also purchase individual accessories. You can also upgrade your interior with accessories such as a wireless charging pad ($275), illuminated doors sills ($425) and all-weather floor mats (150), trunk cargo nets ($50), carpeted mats in the trunk ($90), rear bumper protector ($100) or an auto-dimming rearview with Homelink ($375).

Mazda will eventually add its SkyactivX supercharged 2.0-liter engine to the range. It can also run on compression ignition. The North American specifications are not yet available, but a European brochure indicates that the mill produces 178 horsepower (133 kW). A six speed manual is also in the works.
