You can go crazy with options, and you’ll end up paying twice the base price of Taycan.
Porsche unveiled its all-electric Taycan earlier in the year, in Turbo or Turbo Sguise. People were impressed by almost everything except for the price. It starts at $153,310, and you can add many options to make it more expensive than $200,000. The entry-level Taycan4S, which has a sub-four second 0-60 time, and a starting price of $103,800, made it seem a little more possible to own an EV supercar. The price of optional extras can quickly add up, as with any Porsche.

We were able to get the Taycan4S configurator running so we went ahead and did our traditional most costly survey. You could purchase a base Taycan or a Tesla Model S long range. still have enough money to buy a first-generation Boxster. The 4S was priced at $195,870. It’s possible that we overlooked some more expensive options due to the number of combinations and options available from Porsche.
We won’t bore you with the details of each option (which also includes a $560 wallet for the owners manual), and will spare you the hassle. The fixed panoramic roof and the mobile charger connect are two of the most important items in the Taycan 4S. They cost $2,610 and Porsche forces you to buy them. The Taycan 4S starts at $103,800. It is actually $106,410. Porsche explained that these items are mandatory at launch. If you’re patient and want a Taycan 4S with absolutely no bells and whistles, you can still get it later.
The habbit hole is very deep from there. You can get the Premium Package with Burmester soundsystem for $10,570. The sound system alone costs $5,810 and the Performance Package adds $6,430. The Ceramic Composite Brakes will add $9,970 to the price. The Performance Package does not include the 93kW/h performance battery which costs an additional $6,580.
These packages include a good amount of the available interior and tech upgrades, but you will still need to pay $4,760 for InnoDrive with adaptive cruise control. The heated steering wheel with carbon-fiber trim and full leather interior are included in this price. Although the 18-way adaptive seats don’t come with the Premium Package, it is more expensive to get the 14-way seats which offer memory, ventilation and massaging functions. This pampering will set you back $1,930. If you need an extra passenger-side screen, it will cost you $1,130.
All Things Taycan
Exterior finishes, except white and black, cost an additional $800. Carmine Red costs $3,150. The 21-inch wheels come with carbon fiber blades for $8,770 and the Sport Design Package comes with black trim for $6,040. Carbon fiber trim costs $2,460, while the Sport Design Package with black trim costs $6,040. You can also have customized door sill guards made from matte carbon fiber for $4,060. It costs an additional $500 to get the Porsche Experience delivered in Los Angeles or Atlanta.
It adds up quickly, as we said. Add accessories like covers, cloths and special luggage and you’ll easily reach $200,000. You can easily clear $200,000.
