The EcoBoost 2.3-liter engine has nearly doubled its output.
Mercedes-AMG was a major player in the debut of their high-performance A45 and CLA45 models and their new M139 engine. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces up to 416 horsepower in its S version. It could become even stronger over the coming years.
Ford’s 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine in the Focus RS makes only 350 bhp. Mountune, however, has created several packages to increase output to 400 hp and 444 hp . The m520 package is a great option. The tuner isn’t content to rest on its laurels and continues to extract more power from the engine. They have nearly doubled the stock output.
Mountune’s Fast Ford Hot Hatches
The four-cylinder engine has 684 horsepower and 334 hp more power than the EcoBoost model. Mountune claims that the engine is the strongest four-cylinder direct injection engine. The torque is significantly higher than the series 350 pound-feet (450 Newton meters) to a mountain-moving 5,66 lbft (767 Nm).
This engine was powered by a BorgWarner EFR 8374 turbocharger, Mountune’s MRX cylinderhead and a BorgWarner EFR 8374 Turbocharger. However, it is not clear if it will be an upgrade package for Blue Oval’s hot. People have also expressed concerns about AMG’s ability to squeeze over 400 horsepower from a small four-cylinder engine. They also questioned how long it would last. These same people would probably have something to say about a future Mountune kit that has almost twice as much power than a standard FocusRS.
You might have heard that the aftermarket expert isn’t just about Fords. It also offers upgrade kits for Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R. This modified version was recently compared against a five-cylinder Audi RS3 which won in a drag race.
