This is what 2020 should look like for games.
Are you still able to recall the two real-life Speed videos that we shared last year. This intriguing series focuses on Japanese sports cars. The second and third episodes were focused on the BMW M3s. He takes a trip around Saint Petersburg, Russia with two of his friends and races for a race.
The M3 is up against a Toyota Supra, and a Porsche Cayman in a quick race. The main character wins the 1.05-mile (1.7 km) course easily and continues his journey around the fourth most populous European city.
The driver’s next task is to escape from a police officer. Once out of the chase, he takes on another race. He then heads to the Krestovsky island to meet several modified performance cars such as a VW Golf GTI and Ford Mustang GT. The BMW M3 wins the race, as it is again the fastest.
The actual driving speeds appear legal, but the camera effects make it feel like an NFS-game. According to the creators, “all footage was shot on closed roads and then speeded up before being edited.”
What’s the next instalment of the series? We are hopeful for another installment. We cannot wait to see the Carbon edition. Neon nights, canyon races and Carbon’s soundtrack.
