Standard across the entire lineup is all-wheel drive.
Honda gave the Ridgeline a remarkable facelift in 2021’s model year. Although many of the changes were intended to give the pickup a truck-like appearance they also come with a price. The new 2021 Ridgeline starts at $36,490. This price includes the $1,175 destination fee. This is $2,500 more than the 2020 model. Dealers will soon receive the updated pickup.
The entry-level Sport trim is priced at $36,490 ($37,665 destination). The Ridgeline RTL is almost $3,000 more expensive. It starts at $39470 ($40 645, destination). The RTL-E is $42,420 (43,595). The Ridgeline Black Edition starts at $43,920 (45,095). There are styling differences between trims, such as the Sport and Black Edition getting the gloss black grille crossbar instead of the chrome one on RTL and RTL-E.
Honda’s main focus was on the Ridgeline’s front-end, which was a rare move. Honda upgraded the sheet metal before the A-pillar. This gave the pickup a more square front-end design than the Honda Odyssey’s sloping one. Honda added a taller hood, with a prominent power bulge and tougher-looking bumper covers, as well as slick air curtains. Honda has installed the latest infotainment technology, which restores the physical volume knob.
The Honda Performance Development (HPD), a new package that adds black flares, HPD graphics, badging and bronze-colored wheels, is priced at $2800. The $1,465 Utility package, the $270 Function and the $1.315 Function+ packages are also available. This new, higher-priced package likely stems from the all-wheel-drive system that is now standard across the board. The Honda 3.5-liter V6 engine and the 9-speed automatic gearbox make it a perfect match. It produces the same 280 horsepower (208 Kilowatts) as the mill, and 262 pound feet (355 Newton-meters), of torque.
