After the $1,095 destination fee, the new 2023 Nissan Leaf starts at $28,895 There are now only two trim levels in the simplified lineup. These models are now in stock at showrooms.

The Leaf has a new face , making the V-shaped grille of Nissan less prominent. New sculpting has been done to the bumper, as well as tweaks to headlights. The badge at the front is now illuminated. The S comes with multi-spoke 17-inch wheels, while the SV has standard multi-spoke 17 inch wheels. The diffuser and spoiler are being redesigned by the company at the back to improve aerodynamics.
The cabin is outfitted with new black fabric upholstery. The S trim is gray, while the SV has gloss-black accents. You will also notice a different startup video on your instrument panel.
Each trim comes with Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 tech suite. The SV Plus includes ProPilot Assist 3, driving assistance, and Intelligent Around Monitor.
The pre-refresh model’s powertrain is still in use. The S model is equipped with an electric motor that produces 147 horsepower (110 Kilowatts) as well as 238 pound-feet (322 Newton meters) of torque. The SV Plus has 214 hp (160 kW) and 250 lb-338 Nm is competing at this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Samurai Speed added a lot of aerodynamic elements to the exterior including a large front splitter, larger fenders, and a prominent diffuser. To make the car lighter, the crew removes as much as possible. However, there are no details on powertrain modifications.
According to reports, the next-generation Leaf will debut in 2025. Rather than a hatchback body, the vehicle will reportedly transform into a crossover and will ride on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance’s CMF-EV platform.
