This sounds about right.
Audi is preparing to unveil its top-of the-range model after the introduction of the warm HTML5 at beginning of this year. The RS Q5 could be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. It will use the same biturbo V6 engine as the RS5 Coupe. The 2.9-liter engine with 450 horsepower (331 Kilowatts) will produce 600 Newton-meters (442 Lb-ft) of torque.

The RS Q5 will be considerably heavier than the RS5 so it won’t be able match its performance. In just 3.9 seconds, the coupe can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) before reaching an electronically limited speed of 155 mph (253 kph). The dynamic package will allow Audi to increase the speed limit to allow the car to reach 174 mph (228 kph). The SUV’s performance should be able complete the sprint in less than five seconds, and it should at least match the coupe’s standard speed of 155 mph.
Audi may add a flagship RSQ8 to its RS SUV lineup, but that won’t happen until the end of the decade considering the standard Q8 hasn’t yet been released. It will be available in 2018. It will arrive in 2018.
They should have a focus on other body types for the RS expansion. Although the RS5 Sportback might be appealing, it is only wishful thinking. Rear-wheel-drive models could be added to the Audi Sport RS family of cars, which complements today’s Quattro-equipped cars.
