It will be difficult to see those.
It took a while for the Audi RS3 Sportback to launch, and RS3 Sedan to finally do so. We have seen spy photos of the prototype for the next-generation model, which was being tested mostly at the Nurburgring. We last saw the RS3 Sedan camouflaged prototype this week. The RS3 Sportback was last seen in May.
Also, the launch of the high-powered Audi A3 will still be scheduled for the next four to six month, so we will continue to wait.
However, our anticipation will not go to waste. Motor1 was notified by Periodis Del Motor of a little design detail about the upcoming RS3.
The photo above shows the Matrix LED configurations for the entire Audi A3 range. The photo shows the RS3 in the lower right corner. This seems to be an exclusive presentation. The checkered flag will be part of the detail on the headlight, which distinguishes the performance A3 range from the rest.
This is in line with the Sedan HTML3 that was launched in April and previous spy shots of RS3 sedan. The DRL features a corner box, which is shown in the lead image at the top of this page. It contains LEDs in a three by five configuration. According to the report, these diodes can operate variably. This allows each car in the A3 range to be identified by this small design detail.
This should be taken with some skepticism. Although the authenticity of this image cannot be confirmed, we believe that this design detail will surprise us in the Audi RS3’s production body.
The Audi RS3 will be available for purchase in the first half next year. Patience is a virtue, as they say.
