Is there or will there not be an M4 Gran Coupe

Two new videos have been posted showing the BMW M4 Coupe and M440i Coupes battling the Nurburgring. BMW will soon unveil the redesigned 4 Series. This is just the beginning. The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe will be the next version to arrive after the convertibles and coupes are displayed in front of the media and the public. The 4 Series Gran Coupe was first seen back in September. Unfortunately, the most recent photos don’t show much more than what we saw.These new photos show the BMW still covered in camouflage and a little bit of cladding at its front. This hides the large kidney grille that we know is there. Because both will be riding on BMW’s CLAR modular architecture, it looks very similar to the BMW. It should look the same as the drop-top and two-door versions but be longer to allow for the additional two doors.

It will share the interior with the 3 Series Gran Coupe, but it is not the only thing they have in common. The 4 Series Gran Coupe will also steal the 3 Series’ engine and powertrains. Rumours persist that BMW will launch the M4 Gran Coupe. This could be powered by BMW’s turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-Six, producing at least 503 horsepower (375kilowatts).

Although the 4 Series Gran Coupe appears ready for production, it is unlikely that we will see it until several months later. The regular, two-door 4 Series should be available next month. However, it is not clear if the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted BMW’s schedule. We don’t anticipate the new 4 Series Gran Coupe arriving before 2021, even if that happens. We are excited about the possibility of a M4 Gran Coupe with performance, but we also like the sound of an all-electric I4.
