It is expected to debut in the next year.
The BMW 7 Series represents the flagship model of the luxury brand. Development for the next-generation model is expected to be completed soon. The all electric i7 should be the first to debut the car in all its variants. The BMW model will not be revealed until the spy photos show it with less camouflage.
The front bumper is more defined and shapely than ever. It has a straight appearance with split-headlights and an upright design. The main lamps are positioned lower on the car’s head. The front end is still covered in a lot of camouflage and cladding, but the 7 Series may signal a major styling shift for the model and the brand. Although the rear is still well hidden, it could look as fresh as its front.
There will be a range of powertrains for the 7 Series, including a plug in hybrid. According to recent rumors, the hybrid could produce as much as 560 horsepower (417kilowatts), but the top-spec I7, also known as the i7M60, could offer up to 650hp (484kW) in its dual-motor, all wheel-drive configuration. The company’s fifth-generation eDrive architecture, which was used in the iX/i4, is the basis of the electric powertrain. BMW will also offer traditional gasoline and diesel engines.
The 7 Series will be loaded with the most recent safety features and technologies. It could also offer Level 3-assisted driving. All that tech will be available to both drivers and passengers via a pair on the dash. When the 7 Series and the i7 debut, we’ll have all the details. Sales will begin in 2023. BMW may stagger the rollout by starting deliveries in Europe first.
