Sportiness is added to the big SUV.
The Ford Expedition is the next model to get the ST badge. The badge attempts to evoke sportier characteristics but vehicles such as the Expedition can still be used, as evidenced by the Expedition ST spy photos.
These new photos show the SUV pulling a large trailer behind. The Expedition ST will be fast and fun, however. According to new rumors, the model could produce up to 475 horsepower (354 Kilowatts) upon its arrival. However, the ST’s powertrain details remain a mystery. The Expedition’s twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V6 produces 400 horsepower (298 kW) at the moment. It produces 450 horsepower (336 kW).
Lincoln Navigator Ford will match the ST’s engine with a 10-speed manual gearbox. The beast can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in five seconds. While the SUV still has a little camouflage on its front and rear fascias it likely hides a minor styling change. Red brake calipers and large 22-inch wheels are other design features. The twin-tip exhaust is another. It appears that it will receive the same styling differences as the Explorer ST models.
Ford is expected to unveil the Expedition ST fairly soon. We expect Ford to unveil the Expedition ST relatively soon, as the lack of camouflage indicates that the company is nearing a debut. Ford has not provided any details. The ST badge was popularized by Ford with the Focus and Fiesta ST models. However, they are no longer available in the US. Ford’s Expedition looks to be a great addition to its lineup. The badge is thriving in an age of SUVs and crossovers. The Expedition Timberline, which is also in development, will join it.
