Many parts of the interior are still undiscovered.
Genesis continues to expand its lineup. Last year promised to double its lineup. However, the company is also relaunching its flagship sedan. New video gives us a glimpse inside the Genesis G90 . While spy shots show the Korean automaker working on the update Genesis G90 . The interior is mostly covered except for the center console and dashboard. However, the video shows a few details, such as the electronic door openers.
The new interior door panels have been exposed to show off their new design. The new design features a horizontal armrest, which angles upward towards the front of your car. It is easy to see the electronic door openers at the rear and front passenger-side doors. The panel is minimalistic and features shiny buttons, glossy trim and silver speaker grilles. Although the seat designs remain the same, the rear console has a new look. The rear seat center armrest used to hold a variety of comfort functions and controls.
The G90’s exterior styling will be influenced by the smaller G80 sedan. This includes the new bisected headlight design, which has quickly become a company trademark. The grille will also be smaller. This allows for more space in the bumper to accommodate a lower, unbroken grille. The bisected design will touch the taillights too, although we have yet to see the rear.
As the G90 is loaded with features, the updated G90 should have all the latest safety and tech features. Although the 5.0-liter V8 will likely continue, the turbocharged V6 of 3.3-liter should be replaced by the twin-turbo V3.5-liter. The restyled G90 will not be revealed by Genesis until late this year. This would allow the South Korean market to see the sedan as a 2022 model.
