The bold branding and camouflage of the Ioniq 5 N distract from Hyundai’s subtle modifications to the car. It is lower than the non -N EV and Hyundai places low-profile tires at each corner. We doubt that there will be any major styling changes, but we aren’t aware of any. It is possible that the company may be hiding new, more aggressive bumpers under the camo. Hyundai will likely use N branding on the inside and outside of its vehicles to differentiate them. They also plan to install unique sport seats and a sporty steering column.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the powertrain that will drive the five-door. However, it could use the one from the Hyundai EV6 GT. The crossover all-wheel drive Kia has the dual-motor configuration. It produces 577 horsepower (430 Kilowatts) as well as 546 pound-feet (740 Newton meters) of torque. This is enough to get the GT to speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds.
