You are vulnerable to being scrutinized if you have a name such as Little Guy Trailers. One would ask, “How small is Little?” and then sigh, with arms crossed across the chest. Little Guy could simply direct the skeptical to its MicroMax trailer, as if prepared for such doubtfulness. The compact design conceals its versatility, and it has surprising many amenities that you would need to survive a weekend out in the wilderness.
The Little Guy MicroMax is 6-feet tall, 16-feet long, and 79 inches wide. The MicroMax’s small footprint can be misleading. There’s only enough space for two people inside. You won’t want to be cramming too much. The MicroMax has a generous counter area that wraps almost half of the trailer. The dinette folds down to reveal the bed. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, two-burner stovetop and deep-basin sink. A charging station is available with both 12- and 110-volt outlets.
Under the large counter, you will find the toilet, also known as a porta potty. Access is made possible by the counter folding up and the cabinets beneath folding to the sides. This is a great place to use the toilet. The entrance has a system monitor that controls the water pump, lights and gas. It also includes an air conditioner unit and a quick-recovery water heater. An internal shower is the only thing that is missing from this trailer.
According to Roads We Roam the MSRP for this model is $22,000 The Rough Rider package, which is optional and not priced, includes a two inch lift, off-road tires and a spare tire. It also comes with solar panels. Next year, the travel trailer will be available. Although the Little Guy MicroMax is not the smallest trailer available, it’s still a great choice. Its compact design allows for many features that are not available in a larger design.
