New Subaru Crosstrek/XV Renewable After Recent Spy Photos

We like what we see so far, but it won’t be revolutionary.

In early November, the Subaru Crosstrek’s next generation made its debut on Motor1.com. We saw a prototype camouflaged and being tested on public roads. was spotted again in spy material that shows more details about the crossover’s design. We can now see what lies beneath the camouflage thanks to new renderings that were made months before its official debut.

Our colleagues and friends at  Kolesa.ru We were able to quickly create these digital images of Crosstrek before anyone else. These renderings are based upon the most recent spy photos and show the model from every angle. It’s very modern and stylish, and we admit that we would love to see the Crosstrek look a lot like these renderings.

The design of the previous model is fine. The new generation will likely grow in size, with a sharper front fascia and narrower headlights. It will also get a stronger radiator grille. The overall shape of the new model is almost the same from the side. However, the larger wheels and more muscular wheel arches give it a more striking appearance.

Although the rear end looks almost identical to the Crosstrek’s current Crosstrek, it may be too early to say so due to the camouflage that was used on the prototype. The taillights may get a distinct bracket shape on either side. The crossover could get sportier styling with vertical outlets at the rear bumper.

The current Crosstrek will be available for sale through the 2022 model-year, meaning that the new model will arrive in the 2023 MY as soon as possible. Although nothing has been confirmed, this could mean that the new model will be available for purchase in the third or fourth quarter next year.
