Hyundai’s premium marque is doing its part in saving manuals by giving the G70 three pedals to the United States for the 2019MY. The listing of Genesis’ entry-level model was confirmed online at the start of the month. However, it will only be available with an optional six speed manual transmission if you choose the rear-wheel drive version with the turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.
The smaller engine produces 252 horsepower and 260 pounds-feet (352 Nm) of torque, while the larger biturbo V6 is able to deliver 365 hp (510 Nm) and 376 lb.ft (376 lb-ft). The Genesis comes standard with a RWD layout. An all-paw arrangement is available for an additional fee for both engines. The six-speed manual can only be connected to the four-cylinder unit. However, the eight speed automatic will be available on both four- and six cylinder mills. The auto comes with paddle shifters and Genesis will gladly include a launch control system.
Optional Brembo brakes can be ordered by those who are willing to spend more. They have four-piston front calipers and two-piston rear calipers. Genesis claims that the G70s on larger 19-inch wheels benefit from Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, which offer better handling.

The 2019 Genesis G70 will be available for purchase by Genesis starting in the summer. Buyers will also have the option to choose from eight exterior colors.
