These headlights are very similar to the F-150’s.
This is the first glimpse of the next-gen Ford Ranger. The Motor1.com team said that the images are too small and don’t reveal enough.
The most notable design change is to the front, with the headlights orientated vertically. This styling instantly evokes the refreshed 2021 F-150. The lamps even seem to have running lights that are located at the outer and upper edges.
The truck’s rest is hidden under layers of concealment and camouflage. The vertical split at the grille’s center is not like the pickup. Other than the fog lights at the corners, the lower fascia is also hidden.
These photos show a slight resemblance between the camouflaged Ranger and an alleged 2019 leak (above). These shots may have been a hint as to what the final product will look like.
This profile shows the Ranger’s blunter front end. The lines of the cab look more rounded and less crisp than the F-150’s. Even the development team goes so far as to hide the handles of the doors under flaps.
You can see the lamps at the rear. These images show that the brake lights appear to be in the lower part of the area. Camouflage conceals the rest the tailgate’s design. The passenger side has a single circular exhaust pipe.
The Ranger is being designed mechanically to work globally. Next-gen VW Amarok will use the same platform. Rumours suggest that the Ranger may receive a plug-in hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 2.3-liter turbocharged four cylinder and 10-speed automatic. Additionally, diesel engines would be available in markets other than the US.
We expect the debut of the new Ranger/Amarok in 2022. The pickup will then be available for purchase in the United States during the 2023 model year.
