However, the facelift to the current model was only announced earlier in this year.
Although the Kia Cadenza received a facelift in Korea last year and Chicago this year, it is already receiving a new model. The latest spy shots suggest so. A prototype of the Kia model was spotted many times this year.
The Cadenza’s next-generation Cadenza (or K7 in South Korea) is notable for its large grille and the fact it was spotted with Kia’s new logo. AtchaCars took the time to imagine the full-size sedan with these design cues.
We do find the fascia’s grille and other elements a little too futuristic, however. It’s not surprising that the grille is so large, since most brands these days prefer larger grilles. The new Kia logo, atop the massive tiger nose, is the centerpiece of this rendering.
A report on Kia’s new logo was published towards the end last year. It was a trademark request to Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service.
This was not the first time Kia’s new logo made it to cover. The Imagine Kia Concept, which was displayed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, also featured a different Kia logo. However, it’s less stylized than that of the trademark.
Kia has confirmed the new logo. It is expected to be released by the end the year. According to the previous report, Kia Motors President Park Hanwoo stated that the new emblem was similar to the one on the Imagine concept car but will be a little different.
Is the new logo going to be on the next generation Cadenza? It is highly unlikely. It would be premature to announce the new model. This development will be closely monitored, so keep this page updated.
