The new 911 Turbo has a great look with its large fenders and big wings.
Even the cheapest Porsche 911 has a turbocharged engine since the latest update. However, its legacy as a widowmaker continues to surround the 911 Turo with aggressive mystique. The upcoming power player is captured in this new batch of spy photos during testing at the Nurburgring.
The 911 Turbo is very similar to the test mules shown in spy photos in the gallery. The track on the new generation seems to be significantly wider than the one currently in use. This new generation also features more sculpting on the hood. It creates a visually appealing front end. This one shows the extended wing in its raised position. Porsche’s tail continues to be camouflaged with lots of camouflage, but the quad-shaped taillights are stunning.
The 911 still has an analog tachometer inside, while the rest of the instruments are digital. According to spy photos, the cabin’s center stack has been completely redesigned. It now features a larger infotainment screen as well as a lot of buttons.
The 911 Turbo’s next generation will use a biturbo flat-six, with a power output of 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts). However, this figure will likely still be lower than the GT2RS’ 690 horsepower (515 kW) however. All-wheel drive is recommended to give drivers a better chance of harnessing this power.
According to reports, the new 911 will debut in 2018 or in the fall. Porsche will not reveal the Turbo at the exact same time as the 911. It’s possible that the Turbo will not be revealed until late in 2019, or even in 2019.
Porsche hasn’t finished with the 991-generation 911 yet. Recent spy photos show that the Speedster is still in development by the company. This summer’s more elegant droptop will be available, just in time for the unveiling of the new model’s updated look.
