Nimbl Evolution Launches as Luxury F350-Based Expedition Vehicle

It was never more appealing to live a life on the move.

Let’s be honest, while small and intelligent motorhomes can be very cool and useful, nothing beats a large luxury camper. This is especially true if we’re talking about living on the road and not just on summer vacations. This Ford F-350-based camper is specifically targeting the “community of adventurers that live and thrive on the capabilities of its vehicle”. Meet the Evolution, a product from Nimbl in Sacramento.

The Evolution was designed and built by an experienced team of engineers and mechanics who are also lifelong explorers. It rides on a modified F-350 chassis and Icon Suspension system with 35-inch tall tires at all four corners. The Blue Oval’s 7.3 liter V8 is under the hood, mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The living space is what’s most important. It’s a monolith monocoque composite constructed of a mixture of carbon fiber and fiberglass. Although the habitat is minimalistic in design, it offers everything you need for living on the road. It includes a two-burner induction stove, DC fridge, optional microwave and an LED UV water sterilization system. There’s also a diesel heater and hotwater system with multi-stage filter system. 80 gallons of freshwater, a 24-gallon greywater tank, air conditioning and many other features.

The company says that the Nimbl Evolution’s habitat has been designed with functional creature comforts to allow you to take care of the most important thing on the road, yourself. The habitat is ideal for two and includes everything you need for daily activities: cooking, personal hygiene, relaxation in the custom-upholstered dinette, which can be transformed into a second bed for little ones, and a comfortable night’s rest in the memory foam queen-size bed.
