Nissan 1400 Truck with Honda Motorcycle Engine Looks and Sounds Amazing

This truck is one of the most unique you’ll ever see.

The Nissan 1400 is a small truck that you probably have never heard of. The small truck was made by the Japanese automaker in South Africa between 1971 and 2008. It does look somewhat like a Moskvich 402 with a cargo bed. However, the two are not related. The 1400 pickup truck was known as “Champion” of Africa. It was never meant to be exciting and performance-oriented, though.

South African Nissan 1400 owner was not satisfied with the truck’s appearance and performance on the roads. He decided to make a change. This guy did something truly amazing – each vehicle was hand-built with exceptional craftsmanship. You won’t believe the details. This truck was created by Stephan Fouche of Mad Dog Racing over 700 hours. The truck features a stripped-out exterior, and a Honda motorcycle engine that revs to over 12,000 rpm. Although the engine is not very powerful, it produces a light truck that weighs in at just over 1,455 lbs (660 kg), making it agile and quick.

has a video that shows the amazing project using a Honda CBR-1.0-liter engine. Although the motor is not the most important part of the build, the inboard suspension layout is genius. Frankenstein’s truck rides on Porsche wheels, which gives it an unusual look. The vehicle is extremely lightweight and easy to drive on the track, as the host of this video explains. It’s a stunning sight with its amazing look and screaming motorbike sound.
