Buyers may also receive additional goodies such as an Apple Watch and Amazon Echo.
The Nissan Altima will hit American roads in the fall. However, interested buyers can place an order starting June 15. Pre-ordering one will bring you many benefits, such as the availability of Edition One and a selection of high-tech goodies.
The Edition One starts with the Platinum trim, which is the most expensive. The Edition One sedan also features 19-inch wheels in dark gray with a trunk lip spoiler, puddle lamps, and illuminated door sill plates. This limited model comes with three years of Nissan Concierge, which allows owners to make reservations for dinner or purchase tickets to events. Customers who reserve one can choose from an additional gift such as an Amazon Echo Show with Amazon Prime Membership, Bose Soundlink revolve+ Bluetooth speaker and Amazon Echo Dot w/Amazon Prime; or an Apple Watch series 3.
The Platinum model includes a lot of standard equipment, including the most recent version of Nissan’s Propilot Assist driving assistances that can keep the vehicle in one lane. The rear automatic brake is another option that detects stationary objects and stops the sedan automatically when it backs up. Leather upholstery, Bose stereo and a moonroof are some of the interior options.
The 2019 Altima uses a 2.5-liter four cylinder with 188 horsepower (135 kilowatts) & 180 pound-feet (244 Nms). All-wheel drive is also an option. The SR and Platinum grades offer the option to upgrade to the variable compression 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder. It produces 248 hp (135 kW) and 273 lb/ft (370 Nm). Both use a CVT transmission.
You will also receive a gift if you reserve a 2019 Altima trim lower than the sedans. You can choose between an Amazon Echo Spot, Bose Soundlink Revolve or Amazon Echo Dot. Or you could opt for Apple AirPod headphones.
The Altima is slightly larger than its predecessor, with a 1.9-inch (4.83 centimeter) wider wheelbase. The sedan measures in at 2.54 cm longer overall, 0.9 cm wider and 1.1 cm lower. The interior features a modern cabin with an 8-inch infotainment screen, and a 7-inch digital display at the center.
