A limited edition Premiere Edition model is available.
In North America, the Nissan Juke was retired a few years back and was replaced with the more affordable Nissan Kicks. There is a second-generation Juke on the other side. It recently received a new hybrid engine and was redesigned. The Nissan Juke Hybrid is now available in Europe. Prices in the UK start at PS27.250. This is equivalent to $33,920 at current exchange rates.
The N-Connecta is the UK’s base trim. It is PS1,730 less expensive than a non-hybrid auto version. On the road, the range-topping Juke Hybrid Tekna+ is priced at PS30.150. Nissan has also launched a Premiere Edition model to commemorate the launch of the electrified engine in the Juke. Each Premiere Edition model will be limited to 750 units and starts at PS28,250. The Juke Hybrid will arrive at dealers by the end of July.
All Juke models, including the Juke Hybrid, can be ordered with either standard or optional features, such as two-tone 17 inch wheels, premium Bose audio with 10 speakers, and keyless entry. All Juke Hybrid models come with Nissan’s ePedal tech. This allows you to control the car with the accelerator pedal.
The Juke Hybrid features an electrified powertrain, which consists of a 1.6 liter gasoline engine and two electrical motors. The combustion engine generates 94 horsepower (69kilowatts). It is supported by an electric motor of 49 horsepower (36-kW), another starter-generator of 20-hp (15 kW) and a battery pack of 1.2 kWh.
The system can switch between parallel, series-parallel, or hybrid modes. Nissan claims that its drivers were able to drive in electric mode in cities up to 80 percent despite having a 1.2-kWh battery.
The order books for the Juke Hybrid in the UK, Germany and Spain are now open. The first deliveries to customers are expected by the end of this summer.
