Nissan introduced the 2016 Maxima SR Midnight Edition.
The special edition, which is currently available at U.S. dealers, is based upon the MaximaSR and features an black spoiler as well as a black rear diffuser. A Charcoal leather interior has been added to the model, along with 19-inch alloy wheels in black. This special edition will only be available in five colors: Brilliant Silver, Coulis Black, Deep Blue Pearl and Pearl White.
The Maxima SR model was used to create the model. It comes with heated / ventilated front chairs, a leather / Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and alloy pedals. Special dampers and sport-tuned suspension are also included in the car’s LED headlights.
A 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 300 horsepower and 261 pounds-feet torque. The engine is connected to the Xtronic transmission, which allows for a 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
Midnight Edition packages cost $1,195, and Nissan claims it includes $2,195 worth additional equipment. The package is quite affordable, but it increases the car’s total cost to $38,965.
