You’ll be missing some details if you blink.
Nissan will unveil the second-generation Juke within the coming days, but the Japanese marque hasn’t stopped bringing us teasers. The 10-second teaser video provides more details about the compact crossover than previous teasers.
The teaser footage will give you a preview of the 2020 Juke in a blow-by–blow fashion. You might miss details in the video if you blink. Or, you can look through the screenshots that we have prepared below.
Let’s take a look at what we have seen so far. Now, the V-Motion grille has been confirmed to be larger than expected. The sharp LED position lights have also been embedded in the car’s body, rather than sticking out like sore thumbs.
The taillights are another revelation – the original boomerang taillights from the 370z have been replaced by more traditional horizontal red LEDs on the 2020 Juke. As you can see in the frame, the C-pillar appears to be in a two-tone scheme. It is possible that the hidden rear door handles were dropped in the final design.
The thick tri-bar of lights in the teasers is actually the 2020 Juke’s headlights. They are aligned with the outgoing Juke’s light configuration, but they’re now LEDs.
Nissan has made the following clear: The next-generation Juke will be larger, have 19-inch wheels, and feature Nissan’s ProPILOT technology. At this time, powertrains are still being rumored. There are 1.3-liter and 1.0-liter gasoline engines as well as a 1.5-liter diesel and a more powerful 200-horsepower (149 kiloWatt), 1.6-liter turbocharged mill.
