The warranty on Titan is not affected by the coilovers.
People who want to take their Titan and TitanXD Crew Cab 4×4 pickups off the beaten path might be interested in a way of raising the suspension. Nissan now offers a way to raise the ride height, without any voiding the company’s warranty. The models can be raised by as much as three inches (76.2 millimeters) with the adjustable coilovers.
Nissan teamed up with Icon Vehicle Dynamics (not to be confused at the restmodders at Icon4x4) to create its first ever set of factory-authorized coilovers. These components can be bolted on and require no drilling or cutting. According to the automaker, dealers can install the parts in as little as four hours.
In the announcement of the new product, Billy Hayes, the boss of Nissan North America’s truck and commercial vehicle divisions said that the suspension lift kit had increased wheel travel and damping capability.
The new coilovers are part of a wide range dealer-offered accessories for the Titan and Titan XD. There are many options available, from cosmetic enhancements such as a polished exhaust tip or different wheel designs to more practical items such as a bed extender and rear bumper step. The LED light bars are also useful for improving visibility while driving off-road. Snow Plow Prep Package This package is for those who plan to push snow.
Nissan will eventually increase the Titan range, adding a V6 engine option in addition to the 5.6-liter V8. The company won’t say when the smaller engine will be joining the range. This will allow Nissan to offer a cheaper version of the pickup.
