Novitec Gives Ferrari Portofino a Tasteful Upgrade

The tuner also added 83 horsepower to the 592 prancing horses.

Modifying a Ferrari without compromising its beautiful lines can be difficult since some tuners tend to do too much. However, there are exceptions. Novitec, a discreet version of the Ferrari Portofino has been revealed. This California counterpart was also modified by the German tuner many years ago.

The dual purpose of the new body kit is to enhance your appearance. convertible’s It enhances the beauty of the design by increasing the aerodynamic efficiency. To ensure maximum benefits, the new parts were created in the wind tunnel. The first part is a front spoiler with air deflector inserts. The inserts are similar to the inserts for the dual intakes in the hood.

The mirror caps are made of pure carbon fiber at the sides. There are also custom rocker panels that help to direct the airflow. Novitec offers a variety of alloy wheels in 21- and 22 inch sizes, wrapped with Pirelli tires. Optionally, the new shoes can be complemented with a set sport springs that bring the Portofino closer in relation to the road by about 35 millimeters (1.37 inch). The lift system, which raises the vehicle’s front by up to 40mm (1.57 inches), will ensure that the Italian Prancing Horse is not damaged.

The Portofino’s back has been modified in order to accept a carbon fiber fascia attachment. To complement the carbon bits, a subtle spoiler lip is added to complete the exterior changes.

A tuning program is incomplete without power upgrades. Novitec therefore decided to modify the twin-turbo, 3.9-liter engine. The V8’s stock output is 591 horsepower and 560 pounds-feet (5760 Newton-meters) of torque. However, the tuner can get 83 hp (91 Nm) and 123 lbft (123 lbft). This brings the total to 674 horsepower and 683 lb-851 Nm, which is enough to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds. The top speed is 202 mph (325 km/h).
