Novitec Rosso revealed their tuning kit Ferrari 458 Spider.
The body kit was first shown on Novitec’s 458 Italia. It includes a front spoiler, wing blades and ventilation grilles in fenders. Carbon fiber covers are also included on sill skirts and the rear diffuser. All parts are made from carbon fiber. Additional styling elements include black side markers, taillights and an auxiliary LED brake light.
The new NF4 superlight forged Novitec Rosso wheels are available in a staggered 9×21 and 12×22-inch front-to-rear layout. They come with Pirelli Pzero tires sizes 255/30 ZR 21, and 335/25 ZR 22, respectively. The Spider can be adjusted hydraulically to adjust the ride height. Sport springs reduce the Spider’s ride height by 35 millimeters. However, the standard shock absorbers on the 458 Spider don’t need to be replaced.
Novitec Rosso kept the engine modifications to the new model’s hood simple. They’ve added a new carbon-fiber airbox, a high-performance exhaust system made from nickel-chromium-based superalloy Inconel, which weighs 21 kg (46 lbs) less, as well as sport exhaust manifolds, sport catalysts and a rear muffler with a sound control flap that can be activated by a button on the steering wheel. A remapped engine management system was installed to optimize ignition and injection. This resulted in an additional 39 PS (28.7kW/39 bhp), which is a 609 PS total (448 kW/600 bhp), at 9,100 rpm. Parallely, peak torque increased from 540 Nm (398 Lb-ft), to 569 Nm (448 kW / 600 bhp) at 5,400 RPM. Novitec also added a clear-coated carbon fibre engine cover.
Novitec Rosso has also added carbon fiber trim pieces in the center console and bezels above speedometers and climate sensors to the interior. The shift paddles are also longer than stock units.
