Off-Road Battle: Tesla Model X Versus Fiat Panda Cross

This comparison is not really logical, doesn’t it?

What does the Tesla Model X, Fiat Panda Cross share in common? Nothing.  Absolute nothing. These two “SUVs”, apart from having a higher ground clearance and all-wheel drivetrains (which they do not have), share no similarities. However, the carwow in UK still placed them side-by-side. They’re also in an offroad battle to determine which of the two is better off-road. We know they are completely different, but we also know that this comparison is geared towards having fun. Plus, trashing the Model X could lead to unemployment.

carwow’s
Presenter Mat Watson How different are they? Although the Panda’s power plant is small, it is visible to be very tiny. The 900cc mill produces only 85 horsepower (63 Kilowatts) or 107 pound-feet (135 Newton-meters). The Panda is half the weight of the Tesla and weighs in at 2,568 lbs (1,165 kg). Due to its batteries, the Model X weighs in at 5,584 lbs (2.533 kg). The Tesla SUV packs a lot of power with 417 horsepower (311 kW) or 487 lb.ft (660 Nm). We all know that the Fiat Panda Cross is not going to win this carwow drag race. But it’s a good thing that it’s not. We all know that the Tesla’s off-roading ability is offset by the Panda’s non-off-roading nature. So, which of these two off-roaders was better based on carwow‘s comparisons? Do you agree? We’d love to hear your opinions in the comments below.
